What would you do if you weren’t afraid?

WHY COACHING?

How Big Can you Dream?

You’ve had enough of living your life on anxiety's terms. You’re sick of putting your life and dreams on hold. Even on your toughest days, you know you have strength and are meant for more. You feel that quiet but powerful pull from within, the one that whispers… Maybe I could.

But anxiety causes your mind and body to play tricks on you. It turns fear into panic. It tells you, you can’t. Where can you turn for help?

A coach is trained to help you get outside your own head and shift your perspective. Coaches help you go deep, to discover what you really want and what may be holding you back. Then they look forward, helping you plan the journey to reach your big goals. I know anxiety, and I know how particularly tricky it makes everything. We’ll work with your dreams and through your anxiety to reach the potential, possibility and freedom you can barely imagine is there.

+ What is a coaching session like?

Our coaching sessions will feel like an easy and open conversation. We’ll explore what you want to achieve, what issues you would like to address, understanding who you are and what your values are. It’s my goal to always provide a safe, encouraging and judgement-free space so you feel as comfortable as possible. Coaching is about looking at yourself objectively, where you are right now, and then working pragmatically towards where you want to be. Typically, we’ll wrap up with a few ways for you to explore further, practice and integrate on your own.

+ How is coaching different from therapy?

I like the way Tony Robbins explains it:

“The fundamentals of life coaching are what distinguish it from therapy. Life coaches do not diagnose, while therapists determine illnesses and pathologies so they can be clinically treated. Therapists analyze their client’s past as a tool for understanding present behaviors, whereas life coaches simply identify and describe current problematic behaviors so the client can work to modify them. In other words, therapists focus on “why” and coaches work on “how.” Therapy and life coaching do share certain traits and aims, however. Both therapists and life coaches work to enable clients to make positive changes in their lives and become more productive. While therapists do diagnose and treat from a healthcare perspective, not all therapy clients are ill; many healthy people seek the services of both therapists and life coaches. Therapists may at times work with specific results in mind, such as the cessation of a particular problematic behavior.”

Many clients work with me while also doing therapy, and yet many find the anxiety coaching to be enough. Anxiety coaching is not therapy or medical treatment.

+ When will I see results?

Every client journey looks different. We’ll work together to determine a pace and plan that best aligns with your needs and your goals. I’m here to help you reach your goals in a way that is not only efficient, but also in complete alignment with who you are. We both want you to be true to yourself and move towards living the life you’ve always dreamed of. So, while everyone’s different, my clients typically start to see results within the first month and it only gets better and more amazing from there!

+ How long should I commit to coaching?

The length of our coaching relationship is really up to you. I find a minimum length of two months allows us both to discover your real wants and needs, break limiting patterns and cement your results. Many of my clients continue on afterwards because they see and experience the benefits coaching provides.

+ How long are the coaching sessions?

Our coaching sessions will be 45 minutes in length.
